Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. Cancellation Policy:
  • Order Cancellation by Customer:
    • Before Shipping: Customers can cancel their order for physical books within 12 hours of placing it or before the order is dispatched, whichever occurs first. A full refund will be issued for such cancellations.
    • After Shipping: Once the book has been shipped, cancellation is not possible. Customers may instead return the book after delivery in accordance with our return policy.
  • Order Cancellation by Us:
    • We may cancel an order if the book is out of stock, or there are payment processing issues.
    • In such cases, customers will be notified promptly, and a full refund will be processed.
  1. Refund Policy:
  • Eligibility for Refunds:
    • Physical books can be returned for a refund within 15 days of delivery.
    • To qualify for a refund, the book must be returned in its original condition, unused, and without any signs of damage or wear (e.g., bent pages, markings, or stains).
  • Non-Refundable Items:
    • Personalized books and clearance items are not eligible for refunds.
    • Any book returned outside of the specified return period or in a condition that does not meet our criteria will not be refunded.
  • Refund Process:
    • Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we will notify the customer of the refund approval or rejection.
    • Approved refunds will be credited back to the customer’s original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Return Shipping Costs:
    • If the return is due to an error on our part (such as receiving a defective or incorrect book), we will cover the return shipping costs.
    • For all other returns, customers are responsible for the shipping costs.
  1. Late or Missing Refunds:
  • If a refund is delayed, customers should first check with their bank or credit card issuer, as processing times can vary.

  • Exchanges are available only for defective or damaged books. Customers should contact us at info@indirapublishers.com within 7 days of receiving the book to arrange an exchange.
